This aircraft of the company also caught the top speed of 623 kmph in the test run. Now the latest statement proves that Rolls-Royce is very serious about electric aircraft. In a statement to Bloomberg, Rolls Royce President Rob Watson shared information about the first commercial application of the P-Volt, a specialized battery-electric system.
Significantly, the system will reportedly be capable of producing 600-kilowatt-hours of power, thanks to which the aircraft equipped with it will be able to fly six to eight people up to 80 nautical miles.
