“What! Do you aspire to work as a travel agent? "You can't possibly be serious!" Mr. Naresh Kumar Aggarwal, Bhavish Aggarwal's father, said this when Bhavish discussed his business plan with him. Thank you, God! These harsh words did not deter him, and he did not abandon his ambition. We would not have seen the revolution he brought to Indian taxi services if it hadn't been for him. Bhavish and his co-founder Ankit Bhati created an app that connected passengers with taxi drivers. This simple but brilliant concept revolutionised India's taxi industry.

Finding a customer, on the other hand, became much easier for the drivers because they no longer had to go looking for them or shout at them from the taxi stands. Everything was now digital, and everything could be controlled with a single click. Among the features were:-

·         Easy-to-understand payment options

·         Routing of Rides

·         Traveling between cities

·         Longer-term rentals, such as 10 hours

·         Most importantly, you have the option of selecting a ride based on your budget and convenience.

·         Like car poling, you have the option of sharing your ride.

Success Story of Bhavish Aggarwal

Bhavish Aggarwal Education and early life

BhavishAggarwal, the CEO of OLA, was born on August 28, 1985, in Ludhiana, Punjab. He received his early education in Ludhiana and later aced the IIT-JEE exam to gain admission to IIT-Bombay, where he earned a bachelor's degree in computer science. He began his career as an intern at Microsoft Research India before becoming an assistant researcher there.

OLA

When Bhavish Aggarwal had a bad experience with a cab, he had the idea for Ola Taxicabs, which he co-founded with Ankit Bhati in 2010. Ola Cabs has grown to be India's largest network of specific transportation options, and it has emerged as the most popular option for many customers in 22 Indian states.

By 2014, the company had amassed a network of relative automobiles spanning more than 100 cities. It had also been clocking a mean of relative bookings per day and now held 60 percent of the Indian cab market share.

Soon after, OLA made some significant advancements, which were beneficial to them once again. Among them were the following:

With a fleet of over 250 buses and plans to expand to 800 by 2015, they launched their Ola Mini service in Bangalore and then in Delhi (NCR). Their offer was once again unique and enticing. They began with an introductory price of Rs12 per kilometre, with a base price of Rs150 for the first six kilometres, making them the cheapest AC Cab service available.

After that, Ola added motors to its service in Bangalore and expanded it to other cities such as Delhi, Pune, and Chennai.

They later revealed their biggest news to date. TaxiForSure, or TFS, was purchased by OlaCabs in March 2015 for approximately $200 million. This wasn't their original plan, though. Their original goal was to fill their massive driver shortage, so they tried to entice them by offering them some Original Perk Attachment Bias at no cost, but when that failed, they had no choice but to protect the commercial in order to maintain their steady growth. After the accession, Ola, who had previously only worked with motorists, began working with cab drivers.

With this addition, they also launched Cashless Rides, which worked not only with taxicabs on their network but also with auto cabs and Kaali-Peeli Taxis. Ola Cafe was recently launched by Ola. Simply put, this service allows users to order food, groceries, vegetables, and other items and have them delivered to their homes.

And, if you look at Ola's growth, you'll notice that it's become India's favourite mobile app for cab booking, outperforming competitors like Uber.
