Despite widespread criticism that zero harm culture is impossible to achieve and unrealistic to expect, the new approach is gaining traction. Here's everything you need to know about the zero harm culture and how specific strategies make it useful.

What is the difference between risk management and a zero-harm culture?

The term "zero harm" refers to a method of addressing occupational health and safety that many workplaces have adopted. A zero-harm strategy's primary goal is to conduct business in a workplace without endangering employees by implementing safe work systems. Approaches to zero-harm are associated with going above and beyond safety regulations.

The effectiveness of the zero-harm safety policy is being debated by practising occupational health and safety experts as well as academic researchers. Many safety experts believe the concept is safe, while others believe it is dangerous.
