Swiggy's success story has turned this food delivery app into a national hymn — Swiggy Karo!

Swiggy is a food delivery service.

Swiggy has changed the way Indians order food! It works with practically all of the city's large and small eateries to suit your needs with just one click! The meal is delivered to your door as soon as possible by the delivery agents! Swiggy also allows you to rate and comment on the various types of food. It aids in the decision-making process for other customers.

Swiggy was founded in July of 2014. Swiggy was already operational in 100 cities across India as of March 2019. Swiggy Stores was their idea for breaking into the consumer goods market. Customers could send documents, food, clothes, and other items anywhere in the city using the Swiggy Go service. It was a brilliant concept during the Covid epidemic!

Swiggy's target demographic is adults aged 18 to 35 who use cellphones on a regular basis. Swiggy is available for Android, iOS, and the web. "Swiggy Karo, Phir jo chahe Karo!" is the popular tagline.

The Three Swiggy Giants are the founders of Swiggy.

Swiggy, a Bangalore-based meal delivery service, was started by three engineers, Sriharsha Majety, Laxmi Nandan Reddy, and Rahul Jaimini.

Sriharsha Majety - He is Swiggy's Co-Founder and CEO. He earned his BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and M.Sc in Physics from BITS Pilani in 2008. Sri Harsha has also finished level II of the CFA Institute's programme. He then completed his MBA in Finance at IIM Calcutta, graduating in 2011. He acquired his position as a recruitment coordinator exclusively here. He also worked at Nomura International in London on the rates trading department. He co-founded Bundl Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in 2013 and later launched Swiggy.

Nandan Reddy, Lakshmi – Swiggy's founder, like his business partner Majety, is a BITS Pilani graduate. In the year 2010, he received his M.Sc from that Institute. He was the chief of social media activities at Source Pilani. In Hyderabad, he co-founded the Zurna restaurant. Then he joined Majety to form Bundl Technologies, which later became Swiggy's cradle!

Rahul Jaimini - Another engineer who completes this great trio's third dimension is Rahul Jaimini! He earned a dual degree in computer science and engineering from IIT Kharagpur in 2010. When Majety and Nandan approached him about developing Swiggy, he was working as a Software Engineer at Myntra.

The Swiggy Business Plan!

Sriharsha Majety is an avid traveller. He claims that his parents encouraged him to start his own business. His father owns a restaurant in Vijaywada, and his mother, a physician, is planning to build a beauty parlour. He travelled much, and it was through this that he learnt a few life lessons. "I went on a bicycle journey throughout Portugal and was completely unprepared for the weather conditions," he explained. I was tired, stranded, and on the verge of abandoning the journey. My holiday host assisted me by taking me in and instilling confidence in me to continue the voyage. I was under a lot of stress, and the host just advised me that if I couldn't cycle uphill, I should hitch a ride uphill and only cycle downwards." He went on to say that it made a lot of sense to him, and that he recognised that pausing and taking a break to think about the long-term aim rather than short-term failures was fine.
