In the QS World University Rankings® 2016-2017, Harvard University surpassed the London Business School of the United Kingdom to take first place in the business and management ranking, and it is ranked third overall.
Stanford University
Stanford University, which is ranked fourth in the world for business and management, has one of the most selective business schools in the country, with an acceptance rate of only about 7%. Stanford University has a long history of producing successful business leaders and entrepreneurs among its graduates. University of Pennsylvania
For business and management education, the University of Pennsylvania is ranked fifth in the world. The University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business is the country's oldest, having been established in 1881 thanks to a donation from industrialist Joseph Wharton. It has about 5,000 students and 94,000 alumni around the world, including Google and Apple CEOs.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT)

University of California,Berkeley (UCB)
The next best US university for business and management is the University of California, Berkeley (UCB), which is ranked 12th in the world for business and management. Its Haas School of Business (founded in 1898) is the country's second-oldest business school, named after former Levi Strauss & Co. president and chairman Walter A. Haas. It educates approximately 2,200 undergraduate and graduate students.
Yale University
The Yale School of Management at Yale University climbed ten places to 16th place among the world's top business schools in 2016. It was established in 1976 and currently enrols approximately 668 students. In the 2017-2018 academic year, the school will launch the world's first one-year master of management studies in systemic risk programme.
Los Angeles University of California (UCLA)
Back in California, the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) climbed five spots to 17th place in business and management this year. The school's ethics are based on "sharing success, thinking fearlessly, and driving change" in the future. It was founded in 1935 and has approximately 37,000 alumni all over the world.
New York University (NYU)
The Stern School of Business at New York University is one of the country's oldest and most prestigious business schools, with a global ranking of joint 19th in business and management. It was renamed in 1988 in honour of alumnus and benefactor Leonard N. Stern and is located on the University of New York's Greenwich Village campus in New York City. It was founded in 1900 as the School of Commerce, Accounts, and Finance.
