Making mistakes is fine; failing to learn from them is even worse. It is, however, a sin to pass up the opportunity to learn from others' mistakes.

We all want to achieve big life goals while avoiding mistakes, but it's nearly impossible. However, you can reduce your chances of making these mistakes by reading biographies or autobiographies and learning from others' mistakes.

Let's say you want to be an entrepreneur; entrepreneurship isn't for everyone. You will face numerous challenges and make mistakes, all of which will have an impact on your company's economic growth. You can learn about the types of mistakes that entrepreneurs can make and how to avoid them by reading business biographies. This way, you'll avoid making the same mistakes as others, and you'll have a backup plan in case something goes wrong. With that said, I believe biographies are an excellent way to learn from other people's mistakes, be inspired by their journeys, and realise that success does not come easily to anyone.

Let's take a look at the four biographies that shaped my life the most.

You Must Read These 4 Best Biographies of All Time.

Let's take a look at the best-selling biographies of all time and learn from the world's brightest minds:

1.   Man's Pursuit of Meaning

Have you ever imagined what it would be like to be in hell? Dr. Victor Frankl has spent years on Earth living in hell. He wrote about his experience in "Man's Search for Meaning."

Victor was beaten in a concentration camp. He didn't have enough clothes to cover himself, he didn't get enough food, he didn't even have the luxury of bathing daily, and he never found out what happened to his wife. (He was also involved in a number of other incidents, but my heart is too broken to write about them.) What would you do if you were in this situation? I would have prayed for my last breath if I had been there, but alas! He had not been treated well by death. They say, "You are the sum of the five people you spend the majority of your time with." Many other Jewish prisoners, like Victor, were subjected to similar treatment. Even when everyone else gave up and started complaining about their situation, Victor stayed strong.

One of the most valuable lessons I've taken away from this book is that

"Everything can be taken from a man except the last of human freedoms: the ability to choose one's own attitude in any given set of circumstances." Dr. Victor had no say in how he was treated, but he did have a say in how he reacted. Everything was taken away from Victor except his ability to respond, his desire to travel the world, and his determination to become the strongest version of himself.

I would recommend this book to anyone, especially teenagers. This one book will set you apart from 90% of your peers at your age.

2.   Apple's Steve Jobs

Are you intelligent, creative, astute, and brave? I was referring to Steve Jobs when I said earlier that you should learn from other people's mistakes so you don't make the same ones.

When I say Steve Jobs, what comes to mind? He was an abandoned child, which meant that his biological parents had abandoned him, and he always felt abandoned, even though he thought of himself as special. He was driven to commit the most heinous acts imaginable by this seed of negative emotion. Steve always believed in himself, even when the world was against him. Apple's products demonstrate that he was a true innovator and perfectionist. Despite this, he was fired from his own firm. Apple, the company he founded with zeal, dedication, and devotion. Why?

He was unkind to his employees and made them feel ineffective. He was a true entrepreneur and innovator, but not a leader.

Steve Jobs is the best book to learn from Steve's mistakes and be inspired by his determination if you want to be a successful businessman.

3.   Approvals

Before reading Greenlights, I had never heard of Matthew McConaughey. After reading the book, I discovered he is a Hollywood sensation. But I think that's the most fascinating part: you learn everything you didn't know about someone's life. Greenlights is a one-of-a-kind book that will cause you to think about your life. The writing in the book is so dense that you might get lost in some of the sentences. From his birth to the day he became a father, Matthew takes us on a journey through his life. At the end of each chapter, Matthew shares a few key takeaways and quotes that can help you change your mind.

Greenlights is a work of fiction as well as nonfiction. You'll be surprised to learn how Matthew tried to figure out the meaning of just one dream that led him to this point. As a result, Matthew emphasises the importance of interacting with your deeper self in order to discover your life's true meaning.

Greenlights is one of those books that is difficult to describe in words, and I apologise for that.

4.   Developing

Life has never been easy for a woman, but who says she can't succeed?

Becoming is the biography of Michelle Obama, a black woman who became an inspiration to people all over the world, not just in the United States. Michelle has shared her life story, beginning with her poverty and inability to attend a good school, in order to rule American minds. She was called "black," was treated differently because she was black, and was denied many opportunities because she was black.

Who said she couldn't do it?

Michelle is a powerful, independent woman who stood up for her rights, and the rest is history.

We can't imagine the difficulties she faced in her life, but she accomplished what she was meant to do. Instead of a teenage girl seeking attention, I would recommend this book to any girl who wants to learn how to be a strong-willed woman.

These are the four books that I could not put down. You will be well-versed in the concepts of success, commitment, and how life treats hard workers if you read any of these books.
