World's Top 10 Billionaires: 2022

 


A billionaire is someone with a minimum of $1 billion in total wealth. This is equal to one billion. Forbes named Elon Musk as the Top Billionaire for 2022, surpassing Jeff Bases lastyear. Musk now has 2.85 billion dollars more wealth than last year. The number of billionaires has dropped slightly from 2,855 billionaires last years. This year, there are 2.8 billionaires on the list. This year, these billionaires owned 1.28 trillion dollars of assets. This is slightly lower than the 13 lakh 10000 crores in assets last year. This means that this year's wealth has been lower than last year. Elon Musk is currently considered the richest person on the planet.

Russia has seen the greatest loss of billionaires in one year. Russia's attack on Ukraine resulted in 34 billionaires losing assets and they were removed from the list. However, the United States has the highest number of billionaires this year, as in previous years.

We now know who is among the 10 most wealthy people in the world, other than Elon Musk.

1-Elon Musk

Elon Musk, Tesla and SpaceX owners for 50 years, is the richest man on the planet. Forbes lists him as the world's richest billionaire with a net worth $219 billion. In April 2022, a regulatory filing revealed that Musk had purchased a 9.2 per cent stake in Tweet. Musk was invited to join the company's board. It is well-known that the richest man on the planet has seven children. Musk's rocket firm, SpaceX is worth around $100 billion. With a market capitalization in excess of $342 billion, Tesla is now the most valuable automaker.

2-Jeff Bezos

Jeff Bezos (58 year old) was the founder of Amazon. He started it in 1994 from his garage, Seattle. To become acting chairman, he resigned as CEO in July 2021. Bezos is currently the second-richest person in the world. Jeff Bezos' net worth is $171 billion.

Jeff Amazon started his journey in his bedroom. Amazon began as an online store. Jeff is today the wealthiest man on the planet. Blue Origin and The Washington Post are Jeff Bezos's other sources for income. Many young entrepreneurs have started their own online shopping sites, much like Jeff. Jeff Amazon started his business from his bedroom. Amazon began as an online bookstore. Jeff is the richest man in the world.

3-Bernard Arnault

Bernard Arnault is the chairman and CEO of LVMH Mot Hennessy-Louis Vuitton. Born March 5, 1949 into an industrial household in Roubaix (France), Mr. Arnault attended both the Roubaix lycees and the Faidherbe. He continued his education at the Ecole Polytechnique. He began his professional career in the same year as an engineer at the Ferret–Savinel construction company. After advancing to various executive management positions, he was appointed chairman in 1978.

Bernard Arnault is responsible for the LVMH empire, which includes nearly 70 fashion and cosmetics companies. These brands invest in a wide variety of high-end products, such as watches, clothings, jewellery, perfumes, and many other businesses. Their income has increased significantly as a result. This includes (and Sephora). Forbes estimates that Arnault has a net worth of $158. He is the third-richest person in the world. Jeff Bezos also earns from Blue Origin, and The Washington Post. Jeff began online shopping, and so did his income.

4-Bill Gates

Bill Gates ranks fourth on the list of billionaires in the world. Bill Gates is the founder and CEO of Microsoft's software company. His net worth is $129 billion. Gates also has a wealth of investments in other areas, such as science, energy, retail, and engineering. Gates makes a lot of money from these areas. Bill, and Melinda announced on Twitter in May 2021 that they would be ending their 27-year-old marriage.

5-Warren Buffett

Warren Buffett is the "Oracle of Omaha". Warren Buffett is known as one of the greatest investors of all time. His assets total $ 124.2 billion. Buffett is the fifth-richest person in the world. Buffett is the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway which has more than 60 businesses. This includes insurance companies, battery manufacturers, and restaurant chains.

6-Larry Page

In December 2019, Larry Page, Google's CEO, resigned from his position as the parent company Alphabet. He remained a shareholder and a member on the board. Larry Page's net worth is $119 billion. With Sergey Brin, a Stanford PhD student, he co-founded Google.

7-Sergey Brin

After Larry Page, Sergey Brin ranks seventh on this list. In 2006, Google purchased YouTube through a deal with Arabs. Google also has other technology products. Sergey Brin, the chairman of (Google's) parent company Albet in December 2019, but remains a controlling shareholder. Page created Google's PageRank algorithm with Brin.

8-Larry Ellison

Larry Ellison is the President and Chief Technology Officer of software giant Oracle. They hold approximately 35 percent. Larry Ellison ranks eighth on the list of the top billionaires in the world. His net worth is $106 million. It is also the owner of America's 41st largest Island.

9-Steve Ballmer

Steve Ballmer was the former CEO at Microsoft. From 2000 to 2014, he was the CEO of Microsoft. Steve Ballmer has a net worth of $99.6 billion. He joined Microsoft as number 30 in 1980 after completing Stanford's MBA program.

10-Mukesh Ambani

Forbes lists Mukesh Ambani as Asia's wealthiest man and he is also the 10th richest person in the world. Reliance Industries is headed by Mukesh Ambani. The company is active in the petrochemicals and oil and gas sectors, as well as telecom and retail. Ambani owns assets worth $ 90.7 trillion. In 1966, his father Dhirubhai ambani founded Reliance.
